Product Features & Specifications
The Steiner QCT Close Quarters Thermal Sight offers operators the best of two worlds—a reflex optic with a customizable overlay of thermal imagery. It gives you the technology to find targets obscured by darkness or heavy cover while looking through a glass optic rather than looking at a screen. It’s built for military use in close-quarters engagements and well suited to night hunting for predators.
The CQT is a capable daytime reflex sight with a 2.5-MOA red dot. Still, when eyesight alone isn’t enough, the 320 x 240 thermal sensor shows heat-generated imagery in one of three modes—outline, patrol, and full— and you can select from five digital reticles. The sensor features a smooth 60 Hz refresh rate and up to 4x digital zoom, and the overlay image is an 800 x 600 OLED high-brightness green. Designed for use in tough conditions, the CQT’s aluminum housing is submersible to 66′ for up to two hours and shock-resistant. You’ll get eight hours of runtime for the thermal imager and 1000 hours for the red dot from a pair of CR123A batteries. Should your missions require a closer look at more distant targets, the CQT is compatible with flip-up magnifiers
