Springfield Armory® offers a California-compliant version of the 1911 Enhanced Micro Pistol (EMP®) for West Coast shooters.

This compact concealed carry gun, sized down for the 9mm round, features a lowered and flared ejection port for reliability, an extended beavertail to negate hammer bite, and ambidextrous extended thumb safety levers. The stainless slide requires trivial maintenance, and the 3" stainless steel, match grade fully supported bull barrel shoots well beyond its diminutive dimensions.

Forged Frame And Slide 

The forged aircraft-grade aluminum frame is optimized for light weight and strength, while the indestructible forged stainless steel slide looks awesome.

Tritium Night Sights 

The Springfield Armory® 1911 EMP® includes steel sights featuring three separate tritium inserts.

Compact Frame 

The 9mm 1911 EMP® is purpose-designed for concealed carry, so the aluminum frame is built shorter than standard to minimize the gun’s footprint.

Handgun Case Included 

A double-zipper case is included with each Springfield Armory handgun. The soft-sided shell ensures the firearm and mounted accessories are protected during transportation, while an interior pouch can hold an additional magazine.
