Features a classic 1911 grip angle and feel and is enhanced by replaceable checkered, cocobolo 1911 - style grip panels. Accepts most aftermarket 1911 grips with minimal grip modification. Virtually identical magazine button, manual safety and bolt stop locations as the classic 1911 pistol. Slim Zytel polymer grip frame features a serrated front strap and a checkered back strap. Alloy steel material with blued finish. Bull barrel. Fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. The Ruger Mark III is a .22lr target pistol that continues the legacy created by the Ruger Standard, Mark I, and Mark II pistols but with many new engineering refinements.
