Glock G19 Gen3 Compact 9mm Luger Pistol - UI1950201

This Glock 19 pistol features a 4.02" black steel barrel with a black steel serrated slide. Glock's G19 black polymer frame is outfitted with an accessory rail specialized for weapon lights and gun lasers. The polyger grip is grooved for improved accuracy and reduced recoil.

Chambered in 9mm Luger, the Glock 19 Gen 3 is ideal for concealed carry and personal defense shooting situations. Law enforcement agencies use the G19 as a standard service pistol or backup weapon because of the reliability in extreme situations.

The G19 handgun features three automatic safety systems built into the pistol. First, the trigger safety provides the initial line of defense against unintended shots. The gun safety is integrated into the trigger and placed in the middle of the 28 newton/ 6.29 lb trigger pull.

The Glock 19 requires the trigger and safety be squeezed at the same time to bypass the safety. This keeps the G19 from accidentally firing when dropped or subjected to accidental pressure.

Second, the firing pin safety physically blocks the firing pin from accessing the ready-to-fire position. When the trigger is pulled back, the Glock trigger bar pushes the firing pin safety up and releases the firing pin passage. If you abort firing the firing pin safety re-enages and prevents the shot.

The third automatic safety is the drop safety. The Glock 19 pistol features a trigger bar which sits on the safety ramp within the trigger housing. The rear side of the firing pin is lifted and lowered by the G19 trigger bar. After shooting a round, the trigger bar moves back up and lock the firing pin back into place, re-engaging all automatic safeties.
