The Freedom Series Riptide-C 1911 pistol features an all-steel build with no plastic components, making it one of the most durable and long-lasting pistols on the market. The frame, slide and barrel are all precision CNC machined from bar-stock. The HD Chrome barrel is another highlight of this pistol. With a 1:16 twist, the barrel offers excellent accuracy and easy cleaning.
The positive barrel lock-up provides superior accuracy straight out of the box. The lowered and relieved ejection port enhances performance, while the tuned Power style extractor ensures reliable and efficient extraction. The Riptide-C Original 1911 is designed based on the classic Colt Series 70 1911, making it compatible with standard Colt style replacement parts. The pistol also features standard dovetail (Novak compatible) sight cuts for easy sight change outs.
