The DPMS G2 series is the lightest, most reliable, most technically advanced .308 Winchester modern sporting rifle available. DPMS went back to the drawing board and designed a .30 caliber AR the way customers demanded it. Rearward of the receiver, the rifle is dimensioned identically to an AR-15. This means the entire rifle is lighter, more compact, and easier to haul around.

Multiple improvements to the bolt and carrier group were implemented as well. A reduced diameter carrier further decreases weight, and the integral gas key is bombproof. Dual ejector springs improve ejection remarkably. and the redesigned extractor and elastomer spring will last for tens of thousands of rounds without replacement.

The 20" G2 .308 Hunter is exactly that, a hunter! This gun is deadly accurate, loaded with features and benefits, but light enough to carry all day in the woods, plains, snow or desert. A 20" target crowned lightweight stainless steel barrel, enhanced carbon fiber free float tube, hogue grip, and Magpul MOE rIfle stock makes this a fully featured rifle ready to go out of the box.
